Catch the moment in 1956, when NY Yankees player Don Larsen became the first major league pitcher to throw a perfect game in the World Series. In Game Five versus the Brooklyn Dodgers, it took Larsen only 97 pitches to complete the game. Often overlooked Yogi Berra had a very important role in the perfect game, because he called the pitches that where thrown. Yogi Berra was so overcome with excitement, that he jumped into Don Larsen's arms after the final out. This shadowbox includes an 8x10 photograph of Berra hugging Don Larsen and a dual signed baseball from Yogi Berra and Don Larsen. Larsen added the inscription, "10-8-56". This product comes complete with a Stacks of Plaques Certificate of Authenticity.
